Attendance~ Improvement and Advancement is obtained only by consistent attendance.

 Holidays~ SDC will follow the Greenville County School Schedule.  This does NOT include Teacher Work Days and some Monday holidays.  If you are unsure, please call the studio or check the website calendar.

Registration~ All new dancers are asked to attend registration day.  Returning students may register by mail, sending the completed form with $25 registration fee.

  Costumes~ All costumes will be ordered in December/January.  You may pay for the costumes in full or in three monthly installments. Costumes must be paid in full before costume if received.  There will be no refunds for costumes.

Observation~ It is our belief that students work more productively when they are not observed. The teachers need the dancers’ full attention without interruption or distraction.  For this reason, parents, friends and family members are invited to attend SDC’s Family Observation Weeks.   Check the website for dates and times.  Observation at any other time is at the instructors or directors discretion.

 Recital~ Our 2nd Annual Spring Recital will be held on May 16th at Greer High School. All balances must be paid in full to participate in the recital.

 Dress Rehearsal~ Mandatory.  A detailed recital information packet will be given out at the beginning of May.

 Recital Tickets~ Each dancer will receive 2 complimentary tickets. 

 Dress Code~ All dancers are expected to wear dance attire. Dress code for each class is as follows:

 Ballet/Pointe ~ Solid color leotard, pink tights, pink Ballet slippers/Pointe shoes

 Jazz~ Leotard, dance pants or tights, jazz shoes (please see instructor for specific shoe color)

 Tap/Clogging ~ Leotard, dance pants or tights and black shoes. Advanced class shoes have split sole shoes

Modern/Choreography~ Leotard/tank tops, dance pants and bare feet or foot thongs

Boys~ T-Shirt, black dance pants or sweatpants. Shoes: black jazz, tap and ballet shoes.

 Adults~ Please wear dancewear that is comfortable to dance in.
Hair~ must be secured away from face in all classes.

Jewelry~ No jewelry other than small earrings will be permitted.  SDC is not responsible for lost jewelry.

Tuition~ All tuition is due by the first class of each month. A $10 late fee will be applied to your account after this day.  Tuition remains the same whether it is a 3 or 5 week month, regardless of student absences.  If for any reason your dancer is unable to continue his/her dance education at SDC, you must notify a staff member, otherwise your tuition will continue to accrue.

 Tuition

30 minute class~ $35.00 per month

45/50 minute class ~ $40.00 per month

1 hr/75 min. class~ $45.00 per month

90 min class~ $50.00 per month

 Each additional class receives a $5.00 discount. (per student/family)

Maximum ~ $135.00 per month

 Solos/Private Lessons/Duets/Trios~
(
Dancers are permitted to perform a solo/duet if they are 12 years old or older and are a member of a company team.)
