Lindsay Reeve Watson has almost twenty years of dance experience. After studying dance technique and performance through high school, Lindsay attended Winthrop University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Dance Education. After graduating from Winthrop, Lindsay fulfilled her dream and opened Southern Dance Connection in the fall of 2005. Lindsay has choreographed for various plays for the Greer Children’s Theatre including Aladdin, Pinocchio and most recently Cinderella’s Glass Slipper. Lindsay is the dance instructor for Camp ARK, which is coordinated through the Greer Cultural Arts. Lindsay is a member is the National Dance Education Organization, and is a South Carolina Certified Teacher. SDC welcomes our New Teachers to our Staff! Miss Allison and Miss Ginny: |
Allison Jones is from Irmo, SC and is a sophomore at Converse College in Spartanburg. Allison is an English Education major with a minor in secondary education. She is also a member of the Converse College Dance Ensemble. Allison has been dancing for ten years and has studied various forms of dance including: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Tap and Hip-Hop. She has had the opportunity to perform in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Singapore. Miss Allison teaches the 5-6 year old ballet class and Pointe (12 & over) on Mondays as well as the junior ballet class (10 & Over) on Thursdays.

Ginny Butler is from Wilmington, NC and is a sophomore at Converse College in Spartanburg. She is majoring in Special Education: Mental Disabilities with a minor in Dance. Ginny is also a member of the Converse College Dance Ensemble. She has been technically trained in Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz and Clogging. Ginny competed in the Junior Olympics for clogging in 2003 and 2005 and was awarded the Bronze Medal. Miss Ginny teaches the 10& Over beginning Clogging and Boys Clogging on Tuesdays and Competition Clogging on Mondays and Thursdays. |
